Kaysville Hike

I decided to be brave and attempt a hike with Jayden and Madyson by myself since Jayden loves waterfalls and there was some on this hike. I had no idea what I was getting myself into! Madyson cried from the minute we couldn't see the car anymore and wanted me to carry her. Yeah right I could barely carry my own weight let alone hers. Jayden did really well and didn't cry once or ask me to hold him which was nice. The hike was a lot harder than I thought and was about 2 miles round trip. It was up hill the way there and we only made it to the first bridge with a small waterfall which the kids thought was awesome and that was enough for me. They found a friend and a dog while we were there resting. So needless to say I wont be doing that again alone!

Outside pictures

I took the kids outside on Halloween morning to take some pictures of them in their Halloween shirts and this is what we came out with, I am pretty pleased but you know how many you have to take to get a decent one of each of them. I love these kids!
This is as good as it gets with three little kids

Payton is so handsome

He wouldn't look at me

Madyson (she is a hard one to get smiling)

She is so beautiful though

Halloween (I know it's late)

The kids had fun on Halloween we went over to toys r us to let them trick or treat around the store and then took them to a used car lot to trunk or treat it was pretty awesome. And then that night we went around the neighborhood and the kids got a bunch of candy, more than they needed but enough for me and them to share.

Lingwall's Halloween Party

I don't have a ton of pictures but we went to our friends Halloween party last night and had a great time. We played a bunch of games, and one was particularly fun. All the men sat in chairs and pulled their pant legs up and we (the women) had to be blind folded and had to feel up the legs of the men and guess which one was our spouses! It was so entertaining hearing the things that came out of the ladies mouths, we were laughing so hard that some of us almost peed our pants!

Pumpkin Patch and Military Trunk or Treat

I took the boys to a pumpkin patch where we got to take a hay ride and pick a pumpkin free for donating some cans of food. Madyson was at Grandma and Grandpa's so she didn't come but we picked her a pumpkin. It was a lot of fun to see Jayden and Payton's reactions to all the pumpkins. Jayden kept saying "Holy cow mom!" It was pretty fun. And once again we visited with aunt Ya-Ya and went with them to a military trunk or treat with balloon animals, cotton candy, bounce houses crafts and more. It has been a fun fall so far and we haven't even done the regular trick or treating around the neighborhood!

Scarecrow Festival

Two Saturdays ago we went with Aunt Ya-Ya and Landon to Lehi for the Scarecrow festival. Bre got discount tickets and it made it well worth it for us to drive down. The kids had a blast playing carnival games, going down the blow up slides, getting cotton candy, and riding the train.

They got to ride the ponies and Payton was not ok with it

Gardner Village

It's been a couple weeks since we went to see the witches at Gardner Village but I am getting around to it finally. I took Jayden and Madyson with because we only had enough room for 2 kids and I didn't want to have to take a stroller. Payton wouldn't have appreciated the stuff like the bigger kids! We got to see all the different witches and all the cute little shops. Jayden loved the pond with the ducks but was mad because I wouldn't let him go down to see them (he would have jumped in). We also got to take the kids to the petting zoo that was there. I was quite surprised that Jayden and Madyson both touched and pet all the animals.

They looked at pumpkins and sat with a witch to take a picture and loved the little stream that ran through the area

Madyson was a little shy at first but they enjoyed themselves. It was gross though all the animals were peeing and pooping everywhere. You felt dirty when you left!
